It certainly helped us with our 2011 taxes.

But for gun 'storage' is is a home or a motor vehicle?

I can have a loaded gun in my house, no problem. In a motor vehicle the rules can be different. Here in PA we are an 'open carry' state - so strap on a six gun like the old west and go for a walk - completely legal. Get in your car - now you just broke the law as you cannot legally have a loaded weapon within reach.
What is 'within reach' is the question of course. If it's in the trailer you're probably OK, but if you're in a motorhome where you can walk about there may be no place 'out of reach' as far as a some hard-azz cop is concerned.

Once upon a time we used to camp in the most isolated and secluded places. You could get up in the mornings and have coffee by the campfire and listen to the sounds of nature and admire the natural beauty around you without seeing a sign of civilization. Today we only camp at private campgrounds or where there are campground hosts and rangers. Saddens me to remember the beauty we have left behind.

I still camp at the isolated and secluded places you spoke of. I love Wyoming! I still carry my firearm though.

The US Concealed Carry Association web site has several links to other sites that have the information you seek. Google it for the link.

As a CC permit holder licensed in PA, Utah, and Florida, I can carry in most states. There are still states that prohibit any kind of carry (Like IL). Also, if you camp on military bases, each base has different rules. Some have complete bans; others have you check into and out of the armory.

As a class, CC permit holders are some of the most responsible and safe folks to be around. Hours of range practice and courses by certified instructors are a requirement in most (not all) states that have carry permits. Most likely someone you know (USA anyway) is carrying right now. Unless he or she trusts your judgment or has an accidental "print" you most likely will never find out either.

Unless of course your life is suddenly in danger and they come to your rescue.

So when you guys say you're "packin", a suitcase is not necessarily involved.

Then look down their noses at us?

Besides, what are the non-gun owners going to do in the Zombie Apocalypse?
