H e l p In Texas

We are in an RV Park in Highlands Texas. Last Monday we had an accident with our tow vehicle and it is in the body shop for repair. Luckily we are all ok but we must leave our site in this campground by 11 am Monday. No one in the campground has a 5th wheel hitch and is willing to help us by moving the rig from one site to another on Sunday 3/16/14 or Monday 3/17/14. Anyone in the Houston, Highlands, Baytown etc area willing to help us out? Email us at Thanks for any help you can give!

Maybe you should change the title to Need H E L P in TEXAS?

That might draw locals to this thread?

Yours is a problem that has never crossed my mind. WOW! So sorry you find yourself in such a bind.

Also, are you moving from one park to another, or just changing sites in the current park?

If age is a state of mind, and I've lost my mind, I'm AGELESS, right?
Give me 40 acres and I'll turn this rig around:
Flagstaff 5er 2014 8528 IKWS, Platinum Package, Regency Interior "Buffy"
F250 Super Duty 2013 Tuxedo Black "Biff"
Days camped 2014: 30

Not sure what it would cost, but is there a local towing company you could call with a 5th wheel hitch that could move it for you.

Maybe someone at a RV dealership could help for a fee.
Great choice for "Living within my means" and camping for one...

Call Good Sam, they should be able to give you the name and number of a local company they would use to move a member's disabled camper/TV.

If you are a member of Good Sam, they have a Standby Sam program were they have a list of people from the area who will help a fellow Good Sam member.
