Yesterday got to put the dealer install parts on a more "budget minded" vette, this one was only $91k and change. Only 505 hp instead of the 638hp the supercharged ZR1 has. Just think $42k for an extra 133hp. I think I would spend the extra on a d-max instead of the supercharged vette, but to each their own.

the old saying ... speed costs, how fast do you want to go? 42k for 133 hp is a bit steep, but look at the price of used vettes. especially the collectible ones and it may be money well spent. kind of like diesel pickups, they just hold their value.

Well I'm now working on a new - repurpused tractor shed, and new home for the 5er.

Yes, it was a trailer house canopy my brother and I tore down. We had to cut the pipes off under the trusses and cut the perlins inbetween each truss so we could truck them 10 miles. They still were oversized at 10' wide and 25' long.
I am welding the perlins back together with the trussed on the ground in 2 - 25' sections and then will lift one side at a time to add the legs and skid pipe. After that I will weld the two sections together.

The dw called while I was welding up the shed and said I had to go get my boy. So with welding out, we decided to do some "landscaping" I've been saving this rock I dug up for about 5 years, finaly putting it up. I know my daughter thinks I'm crazy, but I think it will be cool with a couple more rocks and some plants around it. Its about 6.5-7' tall installed.
- you can see my little helper on the excavator tracks in the first pic- he LOVES tractors!
