When that knee gets back in shape, her newfound mobility has a way of turning back the clock. She'll be a young woman again. I see a motorhome in your future.

I had a total knee replacement in 2008 and it has failed; pulled away from the bone. I am scheduled for a replacement on Dec 18.

Just adding this as an FYI, not knowing what implant she had installed. Certain Zimmer NexGen High-Flex knee replacement products have a high failure rate. Zimmer is involved in several cases of litigation; I am expecting paperwork from them to be added to their list of failed implants.

She had a Smith and Nephew system installed.

Do not open this file if you are the least bit "queasy" as it has photos of how the knee is replaced.

(Some folks just have to look at the crash.)

Can't believe you went with one without a grease fitting for lithium grease.

Seriously, hope she has a speedy recovery. Hoping to meet you folks in FL in Feb.

As always she appreciates all your wishes for a speedy recovery. I keep catching her without the walker and can't wait to see her on the camper's steps.

I bet she will surprise you! I have found out that most women can endure more pain and are maybe a little more resilent and us men folks.

SHE'LL BE chasing you around with a whip or a rolling pin depending on the mood in no time!

Good to hear things are progressing quickly and smoothly.
