Only a few years ago they were just plain old nor'easter snowstorms. They still are just snowstorms. That does not provide enough drama now days though. To blame it on global warming it needs to be a superstorm or some other BS.
We're going to get a foot or so here a little SE of Pittsburgh right at the base on the mountains, and they might get 2' up on those mountains and to the East. Its no big deal. It happened big time in 93, a couple of times in 91. A few times since the early 90's until now. And it will happen again.
Why do they have to name every storm now?
