I take along my Nook, the multi lensed Nikon and a sketchpad. My pottery art is whimsy, inspired by nature & I like to capture the idea as it hits me otherwise I'd lack the recall to create it later when back at the studio.

Have no hobbies other than people watching and drinking a cold beverage. I do bring the RC to play around with.

I like to ride horses but don't get the time for it much now that I'm a mom. I used to compete the horses and even spent a summer as a wrangler on a dude ranch.

DH will tell you I'm addicted to my forums since I spend so much time on them. I actually spent a weekend camping with no WiFi and had left my phone at home by accident so no internet access. DH didn't let me near his phone. At first it drove me nuts and then I actually enjoyed the serenity. Hmmm. Maybe I need to unplug more often.

My biggest activity is my DD. Camping helps me enjoy spending time with her even more.

Garden tractors, and all things L&G I like to buy old broken ones and fix them up to go to the local consignment auctions a couple times a year. It is alot cheaper than playing with my 1980 460 powered Fox Cougar that I built years ago and is now sitting in the field by the garage. I do everyting from the engine rebuilds to making new parts for them. I love smashing knuckles etc as it is so far removed from my daily work.

Thanks for the feedback.
This rig is too fun at camp. I have a youtube vid if it running at camp in Pentwater, MI. last summer. The kids freaked me out though - never know what they will do.

I don't want to litter up this thread with a bunch of pics, but If you're interested, the link below is a (long) build thread I posted while building the truck and trailer.

I used to golf. Then my 2nd DD got into softball. I coached the past 4 years but have retired from that. She now gets to play without being the coaches daughter. Our 3rd DD is just starting at 10U. We will be at tournaments from the 2nd weekend of April until the 3rd weekend of July. But wouldn't pass it up for anything.

Our camping is going to be around those tournaments most years and then a few late summer stays at the local state park. During the cold months we, girls, dogs and I hunt pheasant and quail, or at least walk around looking for them.

I miss golf my DW misses it more as that used to be our summer date nights. But we will have time for that when the kids are grown.

Yeah, but how are you at backing it up into tight places?

That's easily one of the coolest things I've seen in a LONG time. Nicely done!
