(sigh) yeah I remember when we lived in Tampa Bay and the temps would sometimes dip to 55 in December.

We thought we were gonna get frost bite!

Wind chill? Oh, yeah, that's what we feel when getting out of the pool here in Mesa.

Not supposed to have to use your boots to break the 2" of ice on the chickens' water here in Louisiana.

I'm already sick and tired of hearing the term "polar vortex."

28 here, with a WCF of 23.

Just went out to check the RV, it's 41 in there with only a small oscillating ceramic heater set on low, sitting on the island counter top.

But at least we have FULL sunshine today, and it helps, I'm sure, that the sun is bathing the 5er on one side.

I went out and look thru my trailer everything looks ok my temp said it was 25 in there.I didn't want to touch anything bc if it is plastic it might break .So remember that it cost me a thermostat one time in my other trailer. The temp is 5 + but the WCF is -5

Thumbs up

We have a large fountain on our patio. Stepped outside just now and shazayum! The fountain has thawed and is trickling.

That puppy's been frozen solid for three days.

Current temp is 37 with WCF of 37. 'zat mean we got no wind chill factor?

Temp in the RV is 47 and rising.

Of course ....

Wednesday 49 with 10% chance of rain.

Thursday 51 with 40% chance of rain.

Friday 64 with 30% chance of rain.

Saturday 68 with 40% chance of rain.

Sunday 66 with 50% chance of rain.

Yeah, nicer temps for camping but WET dang it.

For the month:
Monthly Weather Forecast for West Monroe, LA (71292) - weather.com

Looking like it might soon be worth un winterizing and doing the shake down finally.

Vortex Schmortex...be gone with ya.

So it's working?! Wohoo. Making my mark on Iowa in favor of camping.
