How do you stop your spouse?

In the beginning, We decided to stock the camper with " required " items from our home and buy new items for the house. Sounded reasonable, low cost and all that jive.

My knee jerk is now that the correct pots and pans are in the camper and the bride has bought her dream set$$$ for the house, she now insists on putting into the rig, an old pan that when heated, warps.

We never used it in the house because of that. Now it is a toe to toe sort of thing about, is it going there?

I am not the ruler of all I survey(she told me as much). However, I will find a dumpster for it one day when she is not looking.
Has anyone shared this experience?
Do not get me started on the 12 dish towels and six wash rags that I now transport. We already have a room in the house where furniture goes to die. Did the camper just become an addition to this room?

I think we were reverse. we bought all new items for the trailer. Luckily the DW and I are on the same page about old or defective kitchenware.....It gets tossed.

DW is not the problem.... I am. Don't fret grab the pan and use it on the fire and then it won't be warped any longer, it will be deformed big time!!

Wobbles, give it up, give in, surrender!!!. Gave up and gave into my better half and what she wanted to bring along to keep our rig "stocked".
Also, she threatened not to let me get "necessary stuff" I wanted to get to mod the Lexi.
After a few trips though, she saw the light, and started weeding out the unecessary xtra pots/pans, dishes (for 8) small and large glasses, ect ect ect.
at some point hopefully she'll see the light also.

I have a close buddy that has been retired and rving with his bride for that last 15 years. If I want to get him going, I just ask why is the rv shower cluttered with all of that large Tupperware.

I always thretened to get the Lexi weighed after she stocked it to show her that all the xtras had probably put us over the weight rating.
Now we have a real neat set of nesting cookware, nesting bowl and collander set, and use paper plates and bowls.
2 sets of towels, 2 sets of sheets.
Now, I'm the pack rat...compressor, 20 ton bottle jack, tools, impact wrench, misc hardware, axe, shovel, and "stuff". And, I keep telling her it's "necessary"!!!
"But honey, we really do need to bring the engine hoist with us. You'll see, we may need it one day"!!!

Just keep repeating the old adage to yourself:

"Happy Wife, Happy Life!"

"Happy Wife, Happy Life!"

"Happy Wife, Happy Life!"

"Happy Wife, Happy Life!"

Grumpy, I get the happy wife, happy life thing. Just wondered if I could short circuit the length of time before the obvious becomes obvious.

This could be awhile in our case. I guess this is just ammo I will have to save for those times I really want to get in trouble.

Mistakes men make:

1. Doing something
2. NOT doing something
3. Thinking of doing something
4. NOT thinking of doing something.

Good luck!
