Looking at the tracks, he drove his dually through the ditch first and then once up on the other side lifted the 5er off the ground and hung up the rear. He was probably going fast enough not even notice till it was too late.
My blooper wasn't so bad, but I took my 40' 5th wheel on a ferry last fall. Steep entrance down to the ferry and then a rise up the ramp. I heard a little scrape for a few seconds but thought it was probably my hitch on the back of the 5er.
Once on the small ferry, I got out of my truck to look around and a guy walks up to me and says "Excuse me". I turned around and he says "I think this might be yours" and hands me the bottom 4' of my 5er ladder. I laughed my guts out. What else can you do. Spilt milk.
