How to line up my signature

Every time I try line up my signature one line on top of the other under my pic and preview it. It puts it back in line. Also I saved a profile pic how to I get it on the side of my post under my user name like others have. Thanks for any help

The pic under folk's userIDs is called the avatar so if you goto the UserCP under settings and options is edit avatar. This is where you add that picture. The pic you have is in the edit signature area. As far as the signature "one line on top of the other" I'm not sure what you are referring to. Can you give an example of somebody's?
