One of my wife's friends called me Tedstr when I was an officer in our local dog club. She would say " And how is the Tedstr?" Others in the club picked up on the name so it stuck. It has been my red convertible license plate for the last 20 years. Tedstr, comes from my nickname Ted which my parents called me but put Theodore as my middle name on my birth certificate.

As I 've posted before I am not very origional.... The truck is The Truck, the camper is The Camperor the Puma, the Mustangs are The Yellow One or The Convertable, The Silver on is the SVO & so on..... so my "Oaklevel" name is the area in which we live in SW Virginia simple as that.... I use it on ebay as well.

After the incident I can home to find a 650+ pound round boulder placed in my front yard. It was painted flourecent orange with hole drilled in it and fuse inserted and the word "KABOOM" painted across it.

I tried moving it, no such luck. So I wound up cleaning it the best I could and painting it to blend in. We have long since moved, But the Rock is still there.
Great story...after the fact! Thanks for sharing!!!

When my wife and I were dating (long ago) she gave me a pencil holder and taped a piece of paper to it with our initials joined together. LBRJET. She is now JER of course, but together we will always be LBRJET.

we are on a roadtrip all-the-friggin-time!

We see extended family at least once a month, usually twice. Which means almost every other weekend seems like someone yells roadtrip! and we pack all our stuff and go.

Which was actually the reason we bought the MH in the first place - a little privacy at the 'ol family compound.

Flag is from our Flagstaff camper.
Gang is the first 4 letters of our last name.
6 is how many of us there are.
We used to be TheFlagGang5, but we "upgraded" to TheFlagGang6 on January 23 with the birth of our youngest daughter. Her first camping trip is March 15th!

I'm a flight paramedic in a helicopter, hence I get around at work by FLYing with ROTORs... flyrotor,

Kind of catchy, simple to remember, and never have conflicts with others already having my name on internet sites.

I think John wins for the most interesting story.

Mine is just the name of my business. Everyone around our town (from the government to the high school) abbreviates our city name from West Monroe to the letters WM..........and we sell tires.

I get a lot of comments in forums thru the years that people thought the WM meant Wal-Mart.

My icon is just my company logo.

My forum name is simply the name of the job that I enjoy the most in life. Been doing it p/t since 1991, first as an EMS Instructor, then moving more into Fire & EMS in 1995, now almost solely fire instruction. I was honored to be named the NYS Fire Service Educator of the Year in 2003, primarily for some "new thinking" curriculum development that I had done.

"Let no man's ghost say that their training let them down!"

Congrats! My son was born this past June 1 and his first camping trip was July 15. We then had him out camping until the end of August and again for weekends after that.

Well the DnD should be kinda sorta obvious if you read the first line in my signature.

I used to go with DoubleD on another forum but kept getting weird PMs from lonely men!
