I was born in 1951. Yes, a much simpler time. I wouldn't want to be a kid today.

I agree Wiscampsin. I was born in '51 too and remember many of these things. From my first transistor radio, BLT's at Woolworths lunch counter with my Mom, my Lionel Trains that I still have in the garage and lastly the music that will live on!
Thanks for sharing this DDC.

Thanks for the trip down memory lane. I was born in '48 and spent 4 years growing up in the mid-50's in Europe courtesy of the USAF. At least you could walk the streets safely but I do recall the boogy man in the closet being nuclear war. I had a chemistry set just like the one on the video.

I was born in '67 and honestly, it looked like a ghastly time to live. I can't imagine it being "mayberry" and "Leave it to Beaver" all the time.

Remembered lots of it but did notice couple of mistakes, picture of Flip Wilson wasn't from the fifty's and the picture of the Pam-am girls was from the tv show last year, ( wife hates it when I find mistakes in movies and TV shows and point them out).
