Well the first thing I figured out since moving up from a pop up to a TT which in all the 15 years of owning it [the pop up], I never needed anything fixed or repaired, is that you need to learn how to repair or modify you TT yourself or it will cost you a bundle. The DW went up to our trailer dealer to switch out our voyager brake controller that we were not too happy with for a P2, it was agreed upon that we would pay the difference....figured that since the TV was up there that just to have them install the P2...What!! $183.00 ? The differ3nce was like $40 max so labor was going to be $140.00 for a 15 minute job? Man I'm in the wrong business...

Rest in Peace Mary my darling wife.
Scottish by birth Canadian by time.
Well, lucky for me if it's not something I couldn't do myself, I have alot of neighbors that like to doodle with cars etc., so probabily would cost me a couple bud-lights...more or less me doing the work while they stood around chatting
My wifes boss bought a used desiel pusher, (his 1st camper) and he couldn't get any of the propane (Stove, frig, heater, HW heater) to work. So he took it to our local CW to have them look at it and they charged him $145.00 to turn the gas ON. He now calls me for any repairs.

IMO your wife's bosses experience is just another example of the worth of this forum - if his situation was presented here, he surely would have received a suggestion to check for the gas being on.
