I realize this is a non political forum but......we as a nation have such vast reserves of natural gas, coal, and off shore oil that would allow us as RVers to further enjoy our adventures.
Energy abundance is one of our treasures. Using wisely is our responsibility but refusing to make use of our own while importing it from "enemies" and competitors makes no sense economically or politically.

Every time I stop for fuel with that big F53 chassis and 75-80 gallon tank it is painful. We are retired and I collect disability. The money we have saved is all there is. Fuel prices are more than burdensome. They threaten our way of life.

The reason it gives us better gas mileage (kmage) is its more fuel.
Ture, that's why I originally corrected your conversion number(x3.785=USgal). 1.369 = 5.18/US gallon.

Update
Prices been coming down for the last couple of weeks - more at some places than others.

Highest I remember paying since the overnight price hike started was $4.84 and today I paid $4.13 at a union 76 station by the mall. Big difference! Would had been $3.93 if I opted for the car wash.

I didn't mean to make you cry - but around here the price can go up just as fast and just as much as it can come down.

In my town, we have some local brands like Race Trak and Quiet Trip that either match the WM price or are just a cent or two more.

Actually I should had saved the "crying" icon for when prices go up again. Besides lower prices elsewhere is a good reason to do some traveling.....

Isn't it amazing how fast some people forget? Here we are celebrating these "lower" fuel prices when it wasn't that long ago that we were paying much less for it?

Ditto.
This cycle will be repeating again with the upcoming holidays.
