Man, I need to get rid of some stuff...

I used to scrap stuff out for beer and gas money when I was young and single. Now, it seems I need the time more than the $$$.

I agree with needing the time but my wife enjoys coming along with me when I do it so it's good time together. This is just my storage shop for my scrapping habit my other garage is full of tools and bikes and my tools and a spot big enough to pull cars and trucks in to work on! My buddy got me into doing this and now it seems like the bug has bitten me I am constantly asking everyone if they have scrap they would like to get rid of and whatnot.

Collecting scrap metal that is measured in tons reminded me of theory about men. There are 2 types, one who likes to lift heavy objects and one who does not like to live heavy objects.

Be honest, we all know which category we fall into. If you do all your own maintenance on your truck even up to rebuilding the engine, even if you could afford otherwise,, you like to lift heavy objects. If you would rather pay someone else to do it, then you don't like to lift heavy objects.

Warning, the worst thing a man can do if he does not like to lift heavy objects is marry a woman who does!

I had 3 stainless patio heaters, that we used for Halloween, sitting half way up my drive, and my wife had to run a guy off who was trying to load them into his truck for scrap. I'm surprised they haven't tried taking the screws from my privacy fence!

That blows!! That is NOT the way I do mine I get written permission and in the cases of scrap cars I get the titles signed and in my hand before I touch them! It's not a good way to do it by just taking like that it's always better to do it honestly and way more rewarding as well!
