I really do try and start off with a plan for my travels, but I'm just too easily distracted. It took me a little while to figure out what my grand daughter was saying. There's Grandma tortilla (because she always make fresh tortillas for the kids with melted butter), Grandpa peanut (because he always has hard shelled peanuts or jerky in his pocket for the kids) and I guess I'm grandpa "nuno". My loving daughter was kind enough to explain that was shorthand for grandpa "idunno".

What can I say. If the temperature is right, the scenery stunning, and a semi flat surface to park. That's pretty much where I'll be.

Happy Labor Day folks! Enjoy this last little bit before you go winterize.

Sounds great! What's it like over there in Georgia? Does it get humid this time of year?

We are heading across the line to Conconully State Park for the long weekend. I was up till 11pm last night smoking some tasty treats to bring along. We are meeting up with some family and friends for 4 days or R&R.
We love going to Conconully. The state park is great, and the little town is a fantastic place to walk around. The area is home to a ton of mining history, so we always try to get out and explore, and maybe search for a few geocaches and such while we are there.

Pulled today! All the way 6 blocks to our town park. All the farther we could go this time. Supposed to rain most the weekend too. But I keep getting reminded that it's better to camp in the rain than stay home. Bet we do a mix of both.

We left our baby at the campsite. We decided to go ahead and drop trailer and set-up. Tomorrow is going to be hectic.

Hope she is ok by herself.
