Looking for a hoist.
Looking for a hoist that can lift a 100 pound canoe to ceiling of garage. Anyone have any recommendations? I need to reclaim my garage floor.

ive seen them for bikes and kayaks. I believe it is a standard garage storage/organization item at any lowes/home depot type store. (not sure about the weight rating?

I bought some for my bikes at harbor freight. They are fine for that but don't think they can handle weight. Haven't looked Home Depot. Will try that thanks

The ones at Home Depot seem to be only 50lbs rated.

This is supposed to be able to handle a 150 lb ladder. Should be able to adapt it to hold a canoe. Racor 150 lb. Ladder Lift-LDL-1B - The Home Depot

I have a couple of these to hold extension ladders.

Harbor Freight. Mine has a 400# capacity, I believe. I use it to place/remove items from my garage overhead.
