Loss of Hub cover and lug nut covers

Has anyone ever lost lug nut covers and hub covers from the rear wheel of their coach while driving? If so, what caused it and how did you possibly resolve the problem?

Yes, I did on my 2001 class c. After three times of stopping and looking, I just left them off. But they were the front wheel style, not the dish style that should be on the rears. Drastic step to resolve, I bought a new 2014 Sunseeker with new covers. Just kidding, if I hadn't been looking for a new MH, I would have probably have gotten a new set of covers.
