Yep - I figure for a $1,000, they could have this puppy back on the road.

Bill I have a MH and I still find this funny. It's not like it's not clearly marked. They should have a area to set up lawn chairs and a beer cooler to watch the parade of not so careful drivers making their truck fit.

Often not much warning. First day out with my new MH, I avoided a low bridge which I knew about, only to face another. by the time the sign appeared ?I was face to face with the low bridge with 1/4 mile of traffic backing up behind me.

Years ago my wife and I were vacationing in Scotland. We stopped for lunch, returned to the road and the arch we passed under to enter a roundabout leading to the restaurant was being challenged by a tractor trailer carrying new cars. The cab was stopped just short of the bridge and all traffic was stopped just short of the respective bumper of the rig. I counted twenty cars and growing on our side of the trailer and figured that by the next day it might just be a memory to those at the end of the line. We were happy to continue in the other direction.

Everyone is always complaining about the weight police, but that bridge is CLEARLY over his GVWR. You only get away with it until ya don't.

Will be headed to a CG later this month, the host has warned us to not follow the GPS as it will route us to a overpass that is to low for a FW to clear.

Map and directions have been printed and will be followed in and out, a shorter unit is not on the wish list.....

I'm curious, what campground and what state are you talking about? My truckers Atlas has very few low clearances listed for Idaho.

I am not in Idaho for awhile, the overpass is in Bend, Or. in an older part of town.

As I understand it is on Brosterhous road.

I drove an 18 wheeler for 42 years and even some rr bridges that where marked right I would very slowly and cautously aproach and pass under because you never know if the road was resurfaced and raised abit, but this guy never even slowed down, maybe they should give some classes before they let some of these people drive the larger figs

The lady whom made our reservations even talked about it some but referred us to the website and told us to print the map.
