Mans best friend toby.
I'm writing today with the heaviest of hearts.
My had to lay to rest my best friend and companion of almost 11 years last night .
I know many of you have heard me talk as well as seen picture's and have even met my TRUE sidekick toby.
He wasn't the same as of last thursday as he went ill and refused leave his spot next to the wood stove in the shop where we've spent countless hours over 10+ years solving the worlds biggest and smallest problems during beer thirsty.
Toby had a special gift to make anyone smile as he performed tricks under my command without hesitation and he did so with a fierce tail a wagging.
We've often said even as a puppy that there'll never be another one like him as they broke the mold after him.
Toby made the biggest camping trip of the year this summer as he made the trek to the goshen rally and made some new friends whom he'll never forgot, he even had part in some phat phrog shenanigans and I'll never forget that.

My heart goes out to you Turbs on the loss of your best friend, sidekick and companion. I've gone thru it 3 times and it's never easy. Even though Toby is gone the fond memories of a very special part of your life will last forever.

So sorry for your lose. We are fast approaching the same pain. Both of our labs are 11 years old and have slowed down quite a bit recently. We love our pets, and always hate what comes next....

So very sorry for your loss. I know exactly how you feel. After our last RV trip in October, we had to put our sweet Cassie to sleep on 10/30/13, she was 12 1/2 years old. Her little body just gave out on her. This is her trying to make it down two steps.

Deepest condolences to you.
Cassie looks like she was a sweetheart.
Toby very rarely missed a camping trip .
He would lay under the camper to make sure he wasn't missed.

Oh Turbs, Kenny and I are so sorry to hear about Toby. He was amazing and loved everyone! We will miss him at next years Goshen Rally, and especially how he officiated the corn hole tournament! We will dedicate next years tournament in his honor! Rest in peace my friend!

And when I told toby to walk thru the middle of the game to throw off timmy and youroo I thought it was going to work!

We've always had faithful companions. Each one has been incredible in their own way, and sadly, sorely missed. Each one left some great stories too.
