Ever since last years trip to the FL Keys where we had three blowouts and a sidewall separation, we have carried two spares. All blowouts were China bombs and are now Maxxis M8008 and MUCH less likely to have problems, I'm still carrying both spares in the underbelly slide. Cheap insurance.
All our vehicles have a full sized spare except the Lexus which has run-flat tires and no place to carry even a blow-up. Run-flats are NOT CHEAP!!
