So sorry to hear this news. Praying that this trip finishes well for you and thankful you have the support of a good friend and local clergy. God bless you.

Just got back on the forum today, as my son had a heart attack on the 8th, and we have been with him at the hospital. He is good. I cannot imagine your pain right now and am so sorry for your loss. God bless you and comfort you in your time of need. Prayers for your comfort.

Sorry for your loss Blackrock, I actually have family in Fairbanks (Ft Wainwright) and may be able to assist you if necessary. Please PM me if we can help in ANY way.

A friend has flown in from Phoenix to spend some time with me. Had brunch at a place called the Pumphouse and boy howdy was that good. He and I are going to make a run up the Dalton tomorrow as far as the Arctic circle.

My husband and I enjoyed reading your Alaska Bound posts. We were so sorry to read about the loss of your wife on your dream trip! I'm sure she would have wanted you to finish the trip. I'm also glad your friend can join you as you venture forth from here. God bless you and Gretchen.
