The rules: if you mess it up, you clean it up - period. All things stowed by end of day.

Just the 2 of us and the little dog so its easy for us to keep it clean. The thing cost to much to let it get very messy.

I have a dog and a young child but I still tend to keep it neater than my house. LOL. For some reason I enjoy keeping the fiver clean and hate cleaning the sticks and bricks.

US Navy four years in torpedo and gun fire control

A place for every thing and everything in its place. Except when I don't then stuff gets lost broken or purchased again. Key is knowing where I put it.

Self disipline is the hardest master.

I find if it not put away or in its place takes longer to travel, pack up or even head out. Saves stuff from being stuck in the slides or getting broken. The basement is constant refinement. As you add equipment it changes almost every trip. The only problem is towels, if we can they hang outside on a line, otherwise in raining in the shower area to dry.

Mine's usually fairly clean and picked up, because there's not a lot of room for clutter. However, the grand children haven't started camping with us yet. When that starts, alll bets are off...

Like others, it`s fairly cleaned up...until.......grandchildren....I need not say any more. As for teens....get them their own apartment (tent)..... we had 3 of them. We don`t have a coat closet so we use a stand up coat rack to hang coats & hats on. My wife has to carry a box full of toys in the 5er for the little people, so anther item to find space for. All our boots, shoes, etc., are just inside the door...to trip over as you see fit......oh yes, the coat rack is laid down on the floor between the two rear slides when we`re moving.

It's just the two of us in a big trailer....but nothing is out of place or dirty or cluttered. (Another retired military guy here...I still can't have hair on my ears and I retired almost 13-years ago!)

If I had running water in the shop, coffee pot, then that's the place to be......but can't take the cold much anymore, so smoking inside is allowed here. That's why they sell cleaning stuff....just haven't figured out how to get house cleaner to go camping....maybe just should ask.

I'm really anal when it comes to neatness in the coach.
With our rig there is plenty of storage so there is no excuse to have stuff laying around.
If it was up to the DW, every horizontal surface would be covered with clutter.

Love you dear...
