In several other forums I belong to they have a "paid members " section .
within this "paid" room are these topics that have been rolling for years with thousands and thousands of post about nothing and everything .
the man cave
the hot tub
the bar
and many more .

If there is interest in an anything (WITHIN REASON) goes forum, like "Off Topic" or "Jokes and Humor" I will broach it in the back room.

Not sure what DW would say about me being in the "back room".

Sounds a bit shady to me.

I think I'll be safe as long as the back room does not involve a pole.

Well since I just got my dw home from hospital today we couldn't camp this weekend so my dd and I have built a fire in our home fire ring and are enjoying this brisk brisk evening by it.

Hmm, is it too white trash to say that I use old tires as planters?

I'll attempt to not make lewd remarks. However, were you to read something between the lines, it might show you have a propensity to activate your military mind at times. Close enough for government work?

Comes from a lifetime of finding land mines while walking with my fingers in my ears and my eyes closed.

First pilot I was teamed with used to tell me, "after the release close your eyes and trust me." I'm still here, he must have known what he was doing.

I am sure you found out pretty quick that was a bad idea; right?

Herk, were you at the Dayton A/F Museum when they flew 20 Mitchell B-25 bombers over in formation? It was the 70th anniversary reunion of Doolittle raid. Verry moving! Youroo!!

I did just what he said for the first release. From then on he made sure I had my eyes open. He told me he often wanted to close his eyes when I had to make my logged landings. The AF was hard on WSOs, we had to log at least one landing a month but they wouldn't let them log any take-offs.

With a crew of 5 - 7 there were more GiBs ("Guys In Back" for the non flyers) in a C-130 than drivers. In Fighters the WSO (Weapon System Operator) could deal with the stick monkey one on one.
