moisture resistant TV..

My kid's swim club needs to replace a LED tv near the pool deck. The last one was a cheap 26" and it lasted 3 years. I'd like to replace it with a better suited TV. At work we have environmental sealed electronics, but I've never heard of a TV like that. Then of course is the $ factor. I don't want to spend a fortune. A sealed box won't work as the moisture will still permeate. Actually I think the bigger cause of failure here is the presence of the pool chemicals reacting to the rubber/plastic components, causing them to fail.

Anyway does anyone have a suggestion for a TV?

Check this one out, will bite deep in your wallet, but it is an outdoor tv.
46" LED "Smart" Outdoor TV - Sky 4630 $2,799.00
I would keep buying regular led/lcd TV's and the extended warranty for it.
just my 2c's.

those TV's use a cooling fan that draws air in. Besides price they won't work.

I like the idea of an extended warranty but, I wonder if that may cost as much as the TV.

The tv in our pool deck did last a long time, well, it still works after 7 years! And we have conservation area behind our house. It is under the porch, rain, dust, winds, bugs, and still working!
The ext. warranty usually cost like $49.00 to $69.00 depend of the size of the tv and no questions ask in walmart/best buy if you need to fix it. (Replace)

This enclosure
The TV Shield - Outdoor TV Enclosure Cabinet Cover for LCD LED Plasma

Also silica gel packs in the cabinet will absorb moisture well, they can be recharged periodically by drying them in a low temp oven.
