St. Louis area, too! 6" to 12" in some places, Ice and freezing rain - maybe a half inch - in other areas. The "weather-guessers" are painting a pretty gloomy picture around here,,,as usual .

Sorry to hear that, I am soo sick of winter. At least we only have to deal with -39 degrees today and abt -57 or so with the wind chill.

We have had no snow here in the valley for some time now, it does us no good.

We still need to have more in the mountains as we are still only normal for water levels up there.

Local hydrologist said last night we still need a wet spring to avoid a drought.

One could camp here next week.

Good luck stay warm and safe.

This must be close to one of the worst winters on record for both Canada and USA.

Last winter here we had record snow fall and this winter record cold.

Would be nice if we would get a record nice spring & summer!!!

More snow forecast for us too and below average temps by about 20 degrees throughout the week. Local weather says not to expect much improvement as March temps will be well below average .

We are right in the path here too, weather people here don't know what to say last night they said we may get a dusting or 3-5 or 6-12 inches or maybe an inch of ice were just not sure which path this storm is gonna take, going off that they have not got 1 forecast right this winter so I'm in the process of getting ready for a massive amount or we'll get nothing, oh and the tractor quit running on the last dusting we got which was 6 inches

yep more snow I've got to go clean the driveway again. Last night came home from work it's -6 , this morning it+21 tomorrow it's supposed to be below zero again and stay for the next 3 days at least. Could deal with the snow if that was it but it always seems to come with a wind to blow and below zero temp. The other night we got snow with 45 mile an hour wind and I was surprised we made it home only to find out the road I was on had closed due to the snow.

Yep - crazy weather. This winter is becoming the sixth coldest one since they started keeping records here in North Central Texas. Yesterday we had a high of 80 and the same is predicted for today (Saturday). However we are due for a 50 degree drop in temperature Sunday morning with a possibility of freezing rain/sleet.

I just am thankful we are not having snow like some of you and keep telling myself it is still Winter.

We just had -25 yesterday, so we decided to take a ride 200 miles south to find improved weather for the weekend. NOT! Appleton has storm warnings and cold. So much for a weekend get away.

They were placed under government control added to the endangered species and no fly list.

expert = any guy with a briefcase, more than 100 miles from home. He may or may not know what he's talking about, but he "came in" to "advise" you!

Cute - sounds like the government agent that's there "to help you."

In my aviation experience, people got/get real nervous when they see people walking around holding a clipboard and pen.

Do people still do that??
I had no idea I thought they just sent text messages to their Blackberry from their iwhateverthedeviceoftheweek is.

I shall make an effort to spot these uncouth and backward individuals with pen and clipboard and club them into the future with an out dated Samsung.

We were still using clipboards when I was a FAA inspector - especially during audits, etc. but things might have changed since then.

You sound like a tough cookie.
