$65 Lego Motorhome, vacation home, and yacht

Now that you clicked on the thread title, it's a Lego kit that may interest our members here, especially those with kids.

I have been seeing this in our local Toyrsus and Target.

You can either build a motorhome with boat, a vacation house with jeep, or a yacht. This one should keep the kids busy for awhile, since they can build all three.

I thought a lego bear was just too neat, as well as a functioning awning.

Anyhoo, just letting you know if you may want to pick one up to play with (even if you don't have kids/grandkids )

The kit number is 31052

Not exactly designed to promote delayed impulse gratification among the wee ones.

Looks like I can add a travel trailer and fifth wheel to my class C I got awhile back. Put that with the Class A above and all that's missing is a pop-up and pickup camper to make the set.

I do want them, as my son and I used to enjoy putting lego together. I only have the Class C, and it's here on my desk.

Here is one that I saw in Wally Mart last month ($58)...and I did not buy it.
Now it appears to be on Amazon priced between $69 and $139.

Nice setup though, should have bought it for my grand daughter and "helped" her build it!

Yeah, but their tires hold up well for the load.

Just a little fun trivia: by number of units produced, LEGO is the worlds largest tire manufacturer.... which is nearly 50% more than Bridgestone.

We are forecast to have some bad weather here for the next few days. I picked up several of these Lego RV kits between Target and ToysRus to build in case we are stuck at the house.

Our local Target had the van/caravan set on sale for $9.

We've had a busy holiday season. Already having 2 of the Van & Caravan sets, we have added to and reconfigured the fleet.

My son received the motorhome on the 23rd. It was a good build and I was pretty impressed with the detail. I didn't realize that it had a working slide out on the driver side. My only concern was that the door could get caught by the road wind and blow open so we turned that around so that it now opens the correct way. I'm sure the Lego engineers did not take that into consideration.

On Christmas morning, my wife surprised me with a new truck and 5th wheel. It is a bit cramped but overall, a very nice set up.

The last few days I took it upon myself to start making a Lego version of our Surveyor and F150. Using parts from one of the Van & Camper sets, I used the instructions for the red truck and made an extended crew cab version. I'm still working out the details but am overall happy with how it shares the similarities to my real life tow vehicle.

Those are great. Must be a heavy boat to drop that MH so low.

Love Legos spent years as a kid and gave them all to my son. The town is still in the basement.

I bought the trailer set for myself. Remember these are European designs. They tow 5ers with a ranger and that is the best they had from another thread I saw. Sure it's a bit bigger than the US version but it is still a ranger.

Lego sure is one of those things that continues to stand the test of time. We are all talking about how we used to build them with our kids and now our grandchildren are just as entertained with it as we were, and obviously by this thread, still are..
I have a brother that drives semi, and he sent me a text one day a while back, saying he had an interesting semi trailer load...it was a semi full of Lego headed to a warehouse somewhere...imagine the number of little tires in that load!
