I mostly refer to ours with female pronouns, "We need to get her ready to go" "Is she ready to go yet?" or sometimes as "girl" as in "Bring our little girl home today so we can get her ready to go" or "She's a good girl"

We are not very original..... The camper is either the Camper or the Puma, the car trailer is the car hauler, the small box trailer is the Jartran because it was one, the big box trailer is the box trailer, the small flat trailer is the small trailer, the Mustangs are named mostly by color, my truck is the truck or sometimes called Pepe' , and so on.......

If it makes you happy then go for it.

Getting a little older and have been thinking the DW's name for the rig will stick. (not gonna say it here, too much explaining)

Less conversation, when she is making a point and wants her way is the rule. I have rolled over in order to survive. "It" has a name...

Like the Maude story, sometimes names just present themselves.
I call my wife's new Expedition Stormtrooper, because it is white and black and an exact clone of her previous one. Likewise, one day the universe will provide a name for our new Wildwood 31KQBTS. Right now I'm calling it Vanna, because I'd like to buy a vowel.

We name everything. The trailer is "USS MONEY PIT" and the portable sewage tank we call "THE GOVERNMENT THINK TANK". Both get a lot of laughs.

Ok, I feel that I must share my shame at what my DW named/ruined for me.

I brought it home and she inspected it with a critical eye prior to bursting into laughter. I did not see this coming but she pointed it out.

I just saw a wolf print. She saw a pile. Hence the rig's name, The pile...

Gonna take two pictures to make the point:

I thought about a name, but it won't come when called, and if I want it to go someplace I literally have to drag it along behind me. Gave up on the name.

Fortunately it will "sit" and "stay"

As a kid we always had cats and never named them either, for the same reason.

We have always named vehicles, not sure which generation it started with. Probably my grandfather... he had a pickup truck named "Dammit" as in "come on DAMNIT START!"

We did name our new motor home Brünhilde, from Ride of the Valkyries.

Might need to rig up an outside speaker to play that when we roll out.
