NCAA Trash Talk

So, I just got back from my 5 day weekend and perused ESPN to catch up.....WOW, How about them Wolverines??? #5 appears to be a bit overrated for this team LOL! The Jokies barely beat Eastern Carolina???? They have a team? USC Looked beatable against something other than a division 3 school. And the Bruins begin their march!

WVU Looked awesome (Second team even looked great). There was about 3 mins. left in the MICH game and they were up 32-31 so I thought they would just run out the clock, so I flipped over to the WVU game and then the score popped up. I have been in Boone NC that school would fit inside the BIG HOUSE at Michigan.

It was certainly classic. Funny how major colleges like to play small schools, run up the score on them and then the writers eat it up thinking how great they are. Like Miami, even in their hay day playing 9 games against teams like colgate and southern miss then 1 game againstf Fla and 1 against FSU. I see the heisman winner had 5 touchdowns in the 1st half Saturday. (That would be the QB from Hawaii, who will break every QB record this year)

Kim, do we have to go there again? The Bruins will stomp BYU this week, another major college. While your Jokies are getting hammered this weekend, they can feel all warm and fuzzy the following 2 weeks playing such standouts as Ohio and William and Mary. I didn't know W&M even had a team anymore.

Did you guys know that my hometown Nicholls State University a IAA beat IA Rice. The hoopla about Appalachiabn State and Michigan stole that headline. Go Colonels of Thibodaux, LA.

NCAA stands for Not Completely Affected by Anabolics, right?

Wow. If LSU is not ranked #1 after this week, then pollsters are biased towards SC. At least the Jokies can beat up on W & M now. How about them Wolverines? Two home losses in a row. The Big 10 is certainly overrated this year. At least it's a weak conference, Michigan could still win it. LOL. Bruins roll along, ending the longest winning streak in football.

There are rumors but we'll get a better coach. Coaches seem to know where the talent is and LSU will attrack the best.

Don't know about all that...LSU hasn't historically been one of the schools like ND, USC, Mich, OSU, FLA, FL ST, ALA......which attract coaches. Losing the one you have will hurt, but since he is UM alum, if they offer him the job, he's gone.

Welp, it's official. Polls suck. I guess we'll have to wait until New Year's for LSU to stomp SC. Unbelievable that LSU whoops up on a top 10 team, USC looks like crap against perennial power Idaho, is idle this week and retains #1Ridiculous! Who are these morons in the USA today poll whio gave Florida 7 1st place votes? Unreal the blatant biases in these polls. How do you rank WVA (No Offense Steve) and their weak effort against powerhouse Marshall ahead of Oklahoma? At least the AP poll has Florida at #5, although Texas is much better than they are this year.

It wasn't offensive. I agree. WVU had a bad first half, if they don't improve we will be lucky to play in the continental tire bowl. I watched South Florida beat Auburn and we have to go to South FLA to play them. (ARGHHH the end to another dream).

Auburn deserved to lose. The coach should be history today. He let the last 2 mins expire, had all his time outs to elect to go to OT. Looking at the poll, most of the top 10 wouldn't be there any other year. Parody perhaps?

Maybe MU needs to look at the coach in Ala., he likes to move around and is very familiar with that state.

JR, your guy is gone next year. Saban's rep will keep him from getting another major college.

When ALA was looking for a head coach the top two (Rich Rodriguez and Nick Saban) are both from the same county as me in WV. Also the Gov. of WV is from there. Pretty impressive considering the total pop. is only about 30000 people.
