Need to waterproof a cardboard box
My generator was shipped in a very thick walled, tough cardboard box. I want to apply some kind of waterproofing or sealer and use the upside down box as a cover when out camping.
I haven't been able to find aerosol cans of a product that has good reviews.
Suggestions?

A spray can of plastidip maybe?

Silicone spray can or tent canvas sealer either one will work.

I've started putting my generator in a 56 qt container like this that I can just turn over the top of it when raining:

Years ago I "painted" a cardboard box with a couple coats of clear sealer. It worked great for many years
