Try one of these ....
T650 Wireless Touchpad for Windows - Logitech
Turns any regular pc/laptop computer into a touchscreen operation. Works with Windows 7 and 8.

I didn't know that Win 7 had sticky notes Herk. I guess I was comfortable enough with Win 7 that I didn't go looking in every nook and cranny of the operating system to find the things I wanted.

Vista has sticky notes too. I'm on a Vista and just checked. XP can use it to via Cnet's www.download.com. I never use it because Outlook had it's own version simply called notes.

Bought a 4gLTE smart phone and a droid tablet this year. It's obvious to me Win 8 is simply Microsoft trying to preserve its future as an operating system software. It's a joke on a regular desktop PC/laptop. Get a touchscreen, tablet, etc. and then Win 8 is very nice to use after you go through the learning curve. PC and laptop sales are way down anyway. Even though Win 8 kinda sucks now, it really is the future assuming Microsoft stays alive. Don't worry, Win 9 will be here before you know it.
