New Water Pump

Has anyone seen or used one of these new water pumps and if so, how are they?

If I had your $ I would, but being on food stamps, we're pretty limited on spending on needless items.

Always thought about it, never did it. Only time we ever use the pump is flushing the toilet enroute somewhere. Probably why I never fooled with it. If I run out of things to fix, maybe I'll do it. Unlikely at the rate things happen.

Looked on the website you posted.

Description section says it draws 10 amps max. Technical Specifications section says 6.5 amps max. Which is it? That's a pretty big difference.

Be sure to read the reviews on the website. Reviews appear to be a mixed bag.

Boy with that (GPM) rating you would fill up you Tanks fast! I will stay with my present pump with the 5gal bladder tank and still have the same smooth features that pump has! Youroo!!

I replaced the bottom-of-the-line, sounds-like-a-sick-water-buffalo pump in my previous TT with one of these and the noise and vibration was much reduced. The 2015 8282WS apparantly has one of these which is a similar improvement as the VSD in the TT. I don't know if its just how its mounted but we ran on it for a three-day trip and I felt no need to upgrade it.
