No tow vehicle
This week we are supposed to leave on our Thanksgiving vacation with our 5th wheel. On the way home from work and I hardly ever work on Saturday last night a car made a left turn in front of me and Tboned them no one was hurt. But now have no way to move our unit.
All ready called 23 hotels to get a room in that area and all booked up. We are not going to a relatives house all the family is going to a nice restaurant in the middle.
Not happy

The OP has a 5th wheel.
I don't know of any rental company that would rent a truck equipped for towing a 5th wheel.

Find a otr trucker that needs go that way and pay to have it transported. Who knows maybe he will be nice and charge just for the fuel and some mileage?? My dad did that once to get his backhoe to his new place because his truck wasn't set up with a fifth wheel hitch that the trailer had.

Sorry to hear your dilemma.
We have been in the same situation a few times for various reasons over the years.
Once we were able to borrow another truck from family.
Another time we stayed at a hotel. If you haven't done it already, call the actual hotel desk instead of the 1-800 number and you might have better luck.
Usually we just cancel the trip and plan another.
We have some friends that rented a class c for a trip they didn't want to miss.
Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

Did a follow-up to the hotels today on waiting list at one B&B at three times the cost of the campground. My boss said I could use my work Kenworth but not enough room behind the 5th wheel to turn safely with out hitting the trailer.
