Glad to hear you are all ok and that your trailer escaped damage. I feel for the folks that were not so lucky though.

Yeah, that's what I was worried about. The smaller of the two branches laying next to the trailer was the one that I saw happen before high tailing it home (or driving 15 mph because I couldn't see a darn thing.) The others were way to close for comfort, but I am very fortunate.

The straight-line winds we had last night snapped telephone poles, trees and even toppled my basketball hoop. I was actually relieved when I saw it like this bright and early this morning. Sigh of relief for me. Unfortunately a couple of my friends basements didn't pan out as well.

I was born and raised in the QC area and still have several friends and family there. Glad to see a good outcome per the situation.
