I love this forum and all the experience one can receive from here is awe some. But for some reason I keep getting responses to a thread that someone else stated, and I didn't even respond to that thread. So for some reason I am being mixed up with someone who is having steering problems.
Thought I would share this with all of you, in case something is not working correct here on the forum.
Stephan, click on the thread tools on the green bar over the 1st post in the problem thread. Hit "unsubscribe" if that option is available. If you only see "subscribe", then that is not the problem.

Yes, I would follow Chap's advice and see if you are for some reason subscribed to that thread.
Another way to see all your subscribed threads is to hit the User CP tab at the top of any page here on FRF. On the left hand side now, scroll down to subscribed threads. Click list subscriptions.
Now you see any/all subscriptions and can select them to delete the subscription or change up how you are notified of posts.
