Thumbs up OH yeah new toy!

Now for most of you this may not be such a big deal. I've always had a bad case of camera envy with some friends of mine. Always top of the line digital SLR cameras.. really sweet. But as you know the good ones are NOT CHEAP. So I'm the type person that will wait.... and wait.. and wait till the right deal comes along.

HOT DOG DID IT! Picked up a Nikon D60 for $200! D60 from Nikon

It is in near mint condition. I know the person that had it and she takes good care of her equipment.

I'm thrilled! May have to go back in the business of doing weddings again. Good money there for a couple hours work.

The digital SLRs are great. We just got a Canon Rebel T1i last spring, and I am surprised as what all it will do.

Congrats on the purchase !!!

I'm thrilled with it. Especially since I found them all over the place for $800+! Not on our beer budget! hehehe

My Dad bought that same camera (well, probably different, but...) a few months back. He paid $150 for it with no lens. Picked up some good lenses and a 2X converter from either Craigs List and/or E-bay for next to nothing. It is a great camera and he has taken some very good pictures with it. Some excellent moon shots and great macro shots as well. I would have to say, you got yourself a heck of a deal!

I'm loving it. It's been years since I've had a really good camera. For now I'm using the point/shoot settings. Looking forward to remembering how to do all the different settings.
