Wow! Thanks for sharing. He doesn't look all that old though. Maybe 4 or 5... Certainly not 8 or 9. Maybe just an atypical? Or he just ate right and got plenty of exercise...

Nice pic.
As a Deer gets older the rack will start to get smaller. The reason is that when their teeth start to wear down they can not eat the things that they need to make the rack grow bigger. I have seen a couple of deer in this area that did not shed their horns for one year
