On a happy note

Well we just got back from the pool and it's a beautiful day in Okeechobee Fl. Low 80's. Spent the late morning and early afternoon at the gun range playing with the toys. Great day. Just thought I'd through that out.

Nice! We were lucky enough to have a 21 degree change in temp today......woke up and I it was -12 outside. Now it is +9. Feels like a heat wave

Yes we are much happier that we figured out the wheels work in the winter time also. Of coarse retiring helps also. We left MI January 13 and they are getting pounded with snow and cold. I just am glad to miss it.

phil57, Way to go and glad to hear you are enjoying the 80 degree weather. And the gun range to boot. Does the gun range have skeet and sporting clays course? I'm jealous. It was high of 7 hear today in ne ohio.

The range is very cool. No skeet it trap but all 5 tower and sporting clay. Rifle range pistol, cowboy and tactical. I only have pistols with me but the cowboy has five stations. Lots of fun. They have camping on site but not full hook up nice place.

I will travel with my sporting shotgun, a 45auto, a bar it rifle and maybe a 22. Have you heard of any breaking problems I need to be aware of when camping? I know that common sense goes a long way but just wondering about any thing you may of seen.

I put a small safe that will hold some cash and two pistols. Mostly the 1911 and the 22/45 gets left and carry a XDs 45. I think I'll throw the shotgun in. I wish I had it now. I hurt my neck so I don't shoot the SG much. I would love to try the sporting clays here. I just lock the MH when we leave and haven't had a issue.

Phil,
Happy to hear that you are enjoying your self. That's what retirement is all about.

That's good to know about locking the mh and feeling safe. I have a Springfield Trp 1911 and a compact 45 that I will bring too. SC is fun and I belong to a great club just north of Pittsburg. Do you see many people at cg's with a polaris ranger's? I'm thinking about trailing one to use on SC courses And to get around in CG's.
