I don't believe the original post asked about trade value or depreciation at all.

I think it looks awesome and if it is reasonable in price and has someone nearby who can service it I would go for it. Why not?

It's actually a pretty good vehicle. It depends on what you're trying to getout of it. It's not a mud buggy. It's an on-road off-road vehicle. Parts are not that expensive.

I own a 2016 drx4 it is a 4 seat version and have 3200 miles on it with no break downs. I take on vacations with us inside of our toyhauler and use when camping. It runs good down the street at 60 mph and does well off road on 2 tracks and climbing hills. I also own a 4 seat teryx to loud to speak in over 20 mph it does turn sharper in the woods, but have replaced the belt twice in 1700 miles.

Hi folks, I found this forum when researching the Oreion, which I found when looking for street legal UTVs. I'm one of those people needing a toad for my RV. I don't need a heavy duty UTV, but I do want to get out into the wilderness with my dog, and I can no longer do that on foot. I also want to be able to go into town when necessary, so a UTV seems perfect. Is there something I'm missing? I need one that is stable and reliable; don't want to break down or roll over in the middle of nowhere! What brands/models would you suggest?

Its gonna be REAL hard to find a UTV that will be suitable for toad duty. The tires alone probably wont last 300 miles on pavement at speed.

If you can trailer it, then there is a wide variety available. I would recommend a mid-size 570 Polaris ranger (they come in 2 sizes). Its relatively compact, and easy to handle. As far as driving them into town or on public roads, there are a few states that will allow it, but not many.

Hi Tim,

Thanks for replying! I don't mind a trailer. Originally I was thinking a platform with a small SxS, but something I can drive on roads would be best. I thought I read that there are 30+ states that allow them on the roads as long as they have the turn signals, windshield, etc, but I rechecked. I don't know where I read it but it's not correct. Oh well,I suppose I can rent them? I love my Prius, and the upside is I can keep it. Thanks again!
