Are you sure your name isn't Tim Taylor and once starred in a TV show called Home Improvement"

You bear a strong resemblance to him

Ummmm, I can think of several reasons I do *not* resemble a male star of a TV show, or any male for that matter.

DH can attest to that.

Just a country girl who types like she talks and thinks. Oh, and I've been known to get the warpaint on too....maternal grandmother was full blood Cherokee. So, I'm cajun and Cherokee....look out!

OK - but the first post was gender neutral and the remaining posts ( including the photos) were also. I'll take your word and/or your DH word for it.

OP was by me - Barney1.
I thought the name Barney was gender specific.

I am not sure if the Tim the Tool Man comment was directed to Hermit or myself. If it was me then I am somewhat accident prone like Tim.

Now you got me confused also - let's just leave it at this - you're a guy and your wife is a woman. I'm satisfied with that if you are.

Actually I posted the same photos to my FB page and I got the same question there.

No beer was not involved.

I throw that flipper in the air all the time (or I used to) with never a single accident (until now). Just dumb "bad" luck that I caught it the wrong way.

I guess I will not be starting a Teppanyaki Restaurant!

And never play Mumbledy-peg in tennis shoes!

Your post reminds me of a class I took many years ago in high school (Printshop). The class had a huge old-fashion guillotine paper cutter - you could trim a whole ream of paper at one time. The instructor (Mr. Cooper) was showing a student how to use it safely (!) and somehow put his finger under the blade area. I was in the class at the time, but didn't see it happen... well, needless to say the blade came down and cut off the tip end of one finger at the first joint. He handled it pretty well - asked if anyone in the class could drive him to the hospital. He was back in class the next day!

I once worked in a heave gauge sheet metal shop. We always stopped working and gathered at the first aid station when someone added themselves to the injury list to see how bad it was.
