Our first campsite

We were married 28Aug60 and went directly to Rolla, MO for college and on Labor Day weekend went to Branson, MO. Our belated honeymoon was spent in the pup tent on the left. We used railroad spikes for tent stakes.

That's cool! I took my fiancÚ (now wife) tent camping out in SoCal. She never went tent camping again. Camping these days is in the Surveyor.

That's neat, OC!

DW and I traveled around a lot of this country on various BMWs. After the first few years, she decided it was either travel by bike OR camp. No both. How we haul the bike with us in the Palomino 30THSS.

When I went to Rolla, MO in 1961 it wasn't for a honeymoon and we slept in tents also. FT Leonardwood wasn't that great of a vacation. BTW we were married 11 days before you.
