Ron, since it was brought up, I'm kind of curious:
You mentioned it took you an hour to go 18 miles (ergo 18 miles per hour) -is that not hard on a machine that's meant to outrun an F-18?

Turbo, you and your son are good people. Thanks.
My DH says we are going to get snow next couple of weeks. It's a big snow to us at 2" in. We'll see.

Not at all!
As long as there kicking up snow it's fine at 5mph or 100 mph!

WTG Ron,

I too would like to meet you and shake your hand someday. I am sure those men thought that the angels had sent you when they heard the sound of your sleds coming. It warms the heart to know there are still people like you and your family out there to help those in need.

The best to you and your family over christmas and the new year.

would like to shake your hand as well, turbs. not many any more would go out of their way to help complete strangers, especially in conditions you described.

would also like to go 130 in what amounts to a dining table chair seating position years ago, my brother in law had 2 or 3 snowmobiles (john deere is one i can think of). my sister got tired of seeing them take up space in the barn since it doesnt really snow much here and got him to sell them. for the next 3 yrs, we had enough snow to support (justify) owning them. he has 2 more now for just in case
