Food remnants in the rocks below the tap tend to attract bugs and bacteria, grease and gunk that gets left behind on the spigot valve from dish hands, dish soap coated spigots where people are drawing potable water from (ingested you know what happens... ), and having to set potable water containers in the food/soap/germ gunk to take back to your camp with you.

Just sayin...

Interesting. It didn't occur to me this way. Before RV, we used to tent camp. At campground, it seems pretty common people wash their dishes at tap.

Do a search on FRF for DUMPING GRAY WATER.

A thread a couple years ago got pretty interesting.

I'm pretty flexible on most of the things that other members have mentioned that bother them. The only one thing, that consistently gets on my nerves is those RV'ers who have no concept of time .............. when ahead of me at the dump station.

I sometimes think they are finishing off reading the last half of "War and Peace" in the amount of time it takes them.

It's this reason, that if I'm staying at a park close to home, I'll just dump at my house and have a way to do this.

"Just sayin..." If you didn't mean it then why say it? IMO if you say something then you most certainly meant it and should expect the person next to you take it the worst way possible. Then maybe folks might think twice about "just sayin" something.

Forgetting that one thing during the weekend camp trip and there is always one thing.

My children whining about the lack of electronics. My favorite places have trees for neighbors and no cable. Don't get me wrong, I like campgrounds too but most campgrounds aren't next to a hiking trail that leads to a sweet fishing spot
