I love this thread: its let me know how I might be offending people in a campground, if I should be offended, how to offend, and what to do if Im offended. I finally learned why the was poop under the table of my last campsite...Thank You

When it's cold and rainy all weekend long and then on Monday when I'm back at work it's 70's and sunny  .
We camp every weekend rain or shine but this past weekend was just horrible. It's supposed to be warm after Memorial Day.

Rice burners with boom boxes.....if I wanted to listen to that s..t, I'd ask for a ride in your car........again, rice burners that need an exhaust system.....that I can't hear 4 blocks away. People that say they'll call you back, and never do...People with the light on, but nobody's home

Okay new pet peeve for us. We are at a state park with only dirt roads and people drive way too fast sending dust all over the place. (Rocky will be getting a good bath when we get home.)

show up at site. previous occupant wont leave even you have site reserved. occupant throws coffee at uniformed state park agent. occupant gets to stay, you get other site...

Nope. I'm not condemning. The context that bothers me is when someone blurts out a statement that would be considered offensive and then caps it off with a "just sayin" as if that makes everything better. I've caught my daughters using the phrase and I've corrected them for it. You happened to use the phrase which reminded me of the bad ways that it is used. I'm not singling you out and I didn't intend any harm. I guess you could say I was JUST SAYIN. (my daughters will crow when they read this)

Biggest pet peeve? People who think rules don't apply to them.
As for the people cutting through campsites... simple fix. String a slackline between two of the trees on your site shortly before dark. Then make some popcorn, relax in a chair by the fire and enjoy the show. We call it "things that go thud in the night".

If we wanted screwed up coffee, we'd drink Starbucks /Seattle's Best/Airline burnt, used motor oil straight.
