When I was a kid (many years ago), my dad had a co-worker who bought a pet skunk at a pet store. It had been "de-scented".

I didn't live very long though. Some animals just weren't meant to be pets I guess.

Had a friend growing up that had 3 baby skunks that he kept for several months i remember they were bottle feeding them when they were small, and he kept them in his bed room not sure if he just let them go or what happen to them. but its not unheard of if you dont scare them they wont shoot so to say
