Youroo, I think Hercules tires are available throughout much of the US, including some of the major chain outlets, including Tire Rack. I just like the idea of dealing with a local guy when I'm near home.

Price is right...what is anyone's opinion of 10 ply tires? (Most seem to move up from a LR "C" (6-ply) to a LR "D" (8-ply). Am I putting too stiff a tire on the Windjammer?

A friend of mine just replaced his lrc's with lre's. I camped with him this last weekend and he had nothing negative to report, but they were not the Hercules brand. I will be interested to see any comments on this subject and how this works out for you for my later reference.

Mornin Phrogs. We spent the weekend in Fletcher, OH for a golf cart show and competition. We stopped in Warsaw, IN for a night in either direction, I was really hoping it would have lined up with the rally so we could have crashed, but it was not to be.........
Any way, cleaned up on the competitions and my favorite is the best in show win even though I think there were better carts there
these are for Turbs,
I had a little trouble getting the power to the ground so my buddy and I came up with an idea,
it worked
Been hot as hell here as well. I got nothin on the tire thing but I'm reading and learning...

Five Hercules 225/75R15 10-ply (load range E) tires installed today, and replaced OEM valve stems with TR-600 high-pressure (100 psi) valve stems. Just in the 5 miles from the tire shop to the storage facility, I could feel a difference in the way the trailer pulled, with less "wallowing" (rocking side-to-side) and a much stiffer ride.
That blow-out on the way to Goshen and the damage that was done to the skirting on the tt made a believer out of me. Feel much better about these tires.

Mike, if you are going to use a tire monitor system, you definitely need the screw in valve stems. I had what you put in and they worked for a year and then started leaking.

Yep, it was at Poor Farmers. I didn't realize you were that close Tim. We're working on the date for next years already

Hadn't planned on a TM system, OC...that may be somewhere down the road, but not right now. But thanks for the "heads up" about the metal screw-in stems if I would go that way.
For the present time, wmtire advised me to up-grade from the "standard" TR-413 valve stems (60-65 max psi) to either the metal ones or a rubber TR-600 that is rated at 100 psi, when moving to the load rated E tires. Since the dealer had the TR-600s in stock at $0.69 each and didn't have the metal ones, I got the high-pressure rubber.

Capt. Mike, I have 16" load range E's on my Wildcat. I came back from Lake Geneva in some heavy head winds @ 70mph and it tracked pretty straight & smooth. Only problem I had was the fuel gauge drop like a rock going into the wind.
