Back in today after 13 day trip that took us to two presidential libraries and a bunch of other cool "who even knew it was out there?" places.

To everyone travelling this holiday weekend, be safe and have fun.

SabreDoc, hope the foot heals well. Are you planning to go to Goshen, and will this little "setback" still let you attend?

We're staying close to home for this 4th of July. Got a big Beatles birthday on Friday..."when I'm 64."

Well fishing wasn't to bad today.
After completing 80% of the roof as it was getting to warm we headed out to the lake oldest son, youngest son and fil.
We caught 5 or 6 northern and 5 bass 1 being a small mouth.
Then we headed in town for supper and drinks .

Have a nice fourth everyone!

I pulled in there about 8 am thinking that my wives friend had prearranged early arrival last night but we never made it until this morning. so when we got here the office was closed and there was no note for us so I proceeded to go to my campsite. I got almost there and all of the sudden I was chased down by a little neo nazzi guy on a scooter that informed me that check in time was at 1 pm. and had us follow him to the exit. There is no place to park a 35 foot 5er in this small town until 1pm so we went to the state park boat ramp there and took up 8 parking spots, sorry fisherman<=, but there were plenty of places to park. When we got back at the park at 12:55 he still informed us that it was not 1 pm yet that we had to wait!!!!!! really, If I hadn't all ready paid the 160.00 I would have turned around and left this place. Needless to say it is a nice park!!
Oh Sy that is a beautiful spot! Shame you had to go through all the blue tape! Haph a fun 4th!
