The Northrup Flying Wing was designated the YB-49. It never was put into service.

The Avro Canada CF-105 Arrow was a delta-winged interceptor aircraft, designed and built by Avro Canada. The Arrow is considered to have been an advanced technical and aerodynamic achievement for the Canadian aviation industry. The CF-105 (Mark 2) held the promise of near-Mach 2 speeds at altitudes of 50,000 feet (15,000 m) and was intended to serve as the Royal Canadian Air Force's primary interceptor in the 1960s and beyond.[4]

Design started in 1953 finished in 1958. 6 were built. The plane was destroyed in 1959 after test flights began and trashed for reasons only known by PM Dieffenbaker and his government.

Looks similar to U.S.A.F. F-106. I think the F-106 was the first American delta wing fighter in the Century Series ( F-100 - F-106). There was a F-107, but it never entered production.

Yep, it was a good turn out, packed house with a waiting list. Keep in mind though it is a small CG.....only 20 slots. We had the place all to ourselves.

Great group of folks!! Saturday nights Pot-Luck was excellent, the ribs and chicken from the grill were done by the best Chefs I have ever met!

Had a 'round table' discussion Saturday morning, with tips, hints, questions, advice, lots of good input and participation.

Everyone had a great time and are already looking forward to next years event.

Happy News. I was on Facebook and Campfire In A Can gives some away. No claimed one and I said I could use it and show it to FROGS. Well I won one! Kind of neat as we where looking at buying one last weekend while camping. The FROGS comment won the judges over.

GREAT Idea John! Boy what a DOH! Moment when I read your post - Redstone has a HUGE Class 6 (lot's of retirees support it )

I'll drop by on the way home today.

The Bamaganza Rally was a hoot! Dennis and I told some PPST Pond war stories and most of the folks in attendance want to come to Goshen next year and meet the rest of the PPST. The gang was particulary interested in Beer Tasting Night

Congrats on the Campfire in A Can - 6 Actual and I have one and IMHO, it's the best "fake campfire" out there!

Winterizing...bah! sorry it's that time for you. We have one more planned campout (with the Local Good Sam's Club) 7-9 NOV and I was going to winterize after that campout.

Then I saw the weather forecast for this weekend

We are supposed to have wind chill factors of 16 degrees - yes *16* tonight! Gonna have to turn on the tank heaters and the furnace when I get home tonight!!
