Insurance co. (MFA Shelter) elected to clean the house off at the slab and rebuild. Contractor came up with attaching the 3 car garage to the other garage and created a new room for the hot tub. Insurance was fantastic, covered renting another house until new house was built (5 months), all new furniture, motel until we moved into rental house and meals. Re-painted both vehicles in the 2 car garage. Couldn't ask for a better insurance.
HATS OFF TO THE INSURANCE CO. Had to be a nightmare tho. No one injured I hope.

No, both TOWTA and I were in it and watched the living room/dining room ceiling drop. Not a scratch. It was like slow motion. Had just returned from bedroom when we heard broken glass and discovered a tree limb had gone thru the roof and was resting on the bed. Went out to the breakfast area and saw the dr/lr ceiling drop and immediately smelled gas from the broken gas line in the attic. Needless to say, we went to the 3 car garage, got in the 56 Chev and went to the police station 3 blocks away.
