Yep - being an Uncle can be painful sometimes. Is it going to keep you off work for awhile?

Howdy Phroggs.

Glad to here everyone had a good time in Goshen. Wish I could have been there to meet you all.

Been a little crazy the last month busy time at the job so I've been seeing a lot of early mornings and late nights.

Have had time to do some camping at the little state park nearby.

I would have to agree with fordes we need to get a Nashville rally planned.

I only took me about 4 hours to get caught up with all the posts I couldn't hardly believe it FRF says the 31st of july was the last time I had a chance to get on.

Morning pondies!! We have some serious fog going on this morning! We too are heading for a hot dry week! No rain sine we got home from Goshen either. So much for getting our food plot going!

Welcome back mackman! You been away that long! Welcome aboard Ses! Let me know what show you find on stacking wood! RB is like a little woodchuck!!

I have a couple errands to run today, trying to get things going to get electric to the barn. We have to clear a spot, remove part of a fence too, so they can bury the cable up to the barn. We don't want any aerial lines overhead to ruin the view.

Missing my poodles too, gotta go fetch them from my DD. she turns 21 tomorrow, so I will go have lunch with her as she legally buys her first beverage. She can't do much though, she has classes at night all week. Ha!

I am so jealous of the little Solstice Turbs!

Happy 21st B-day to DD . When we took our DD out to celebrate her 21st she ordered a drink and didn't even get carded, go figure.

Morning, pond-dwellers.

Hot and dry here all week, too. High 90's and no rain in sight. Running errands to the vet, etc, etc.

BombDoc, how do you like your Tailgater antenna? We're in the process of switching from Charter Cable to one of the satellite providers - probably Dish Network - and I looked at the Tailgater to take on the RV with us. About 1/2 the cost of the Winegard Carry-out antenna. Are you happy with yours?

RVC, how was the lake? Where did you go? Some friends just sent us pictures of the Shoot-Out. They moved it this year from Captain Ron's at the 32 mile marker to Big Dick's Half-way Inn at the 45 mile mark. Didn't look like the crowds were nearly as big as in past years.

(BTW, in case anyone is wondering, Big Dick's is half-way between Bagnell Dam on the east end of the Lake of the Ozarks and Truman Dam, 90 miles up-stream on the west end of the lake. )
